The Alliance Bank charter, established in 1867, is located in Lake City. Alliance Bank is the oldest state charted bank still in existence in Minnesota today. Alliance Bank sponsors community events such as Water Ski Days, 4th of July fireworks, Tour De Pepin and Johnny Appleseed Days. Alliance Bank donates to many local fund raisers and participates in local events. The Lake City employees host an annual customer appreciation day luncheon for customers and guests. Lake City employees also host an annual Thanksgiving lunch for the Celebrity Club members.
